The Clamcleat® CL206 starboard side cleat is an economical and discreet cleat, suitable for both flat and vertical surfaces. One of the CL206's earliest non-marine uses was for securing safety lines on ladders used by engineers working on telegraph poles.

The CL206 can be used on metal, wood, or fiberglass ladders. It is also very useful for control lines on dinghies and sailboats . It can be fixed with bolts or screws.
