The Clamcleat® CL206 side (starboard) cleat is an economical and low-profile cleat, suitable for both flat and vertical surfaces. One of the earliest non-marine uses of the CL206 was securing safety lines to ladders used by engineers working on telegraph poles.

The CL206 can be used on metal, wood, or fiberglass ladders. It is also very useful for control lines on dinghies and sailboats. Attaches with bolts or screws.
