ClamCleat® Mini Racing Rocker
The Clamcleat® CL257 self-releasing cleat offers the most effective solution for securing a rudder while allowing it to right itself if it hits the seabed or a solid obstacle. It holds the lines firmly and releases them as soon as it is overloaded.
Once triggered, it resets easily in seconds by pushing it back into its base. The CL257 is equipped with an adjustable cam that allows you to adjust the trigger tension according to the boat and local conditions. The cam is adjusted until the rudder is held firmly in the down position under optimal sailing conditions.
