Optimist Mast Retainer OPTIPARTS. This retainer will prevent your mast from coming out of the mast thwart when the boat is capsized.

This mast retainer has a rubber part and must be tightened around the Optimist mast just below the mast thwart. We suggest using the collar in addition to the locking system to create double security. The clasp has a cord to attach it to the boat's hull.
