ClamCleat cleat cage

This fairlead cage is an accessory that allows you to wedge and unwedge ropes up to an angle of 70 degrees, rather than just aligning them with the cleat: You can even tilt the CL816 using a CL818 conical pad.

Adding cages to cleats equipped with loops allows the helmsman or crew to adjust a trim line from various positions quickly, easily, and efficiently, without the risk of accidental jamming. Simply pull the line at an angle to guide it through the teeth, as shown in the diagrams. The stainless steel aft fairlead offers long racing life.
